Pearle Visions Children’s Eye Exam Review and Sweepstakes

  • New Glasses For Liam: One Stop Shop At Pearle Vision @PearleVision Plus 100 Giveaway!

    August 17, 2016

It's been a few weeks since Liam has been rocking his new glasses from Pearle Vision and we couldn't be happier. We mentioned in our last post that we opted for transition lenses because my son has always wanted sunglasses. Unfortunately, due to his high prescription level, he was never able to wear them on sunny days.

  • Heading Back to School with New Glasses from Pearle Vision

    August 17, 2016

A couple of weeks ago, I took my youngest son Aaron to our local Pearle Vision located in Wolfe Ranch Town Center to get an extensive eye exam and a new pair of glasses. I wanted to make sure he was set up for success as he enters a new year of school. He knows all too well what it’s like to sit in a classroom and not be able to see well. It’s distracting and can affect one’s performance.

  • Pearle Vision Helped My Son Get Ready For Back To School

    August 17, 2016

With back-to-school time upon us, as parents we get our kids prepped and ready as best as we possibly can. We buy new clothes and shoes. We stock them up with school supplies. We get new backpacks and lunch bags. We start filling the fridge with extra foods and beverages for school morning breakfasts and lunches. We get emergency contacts in place for school. We just start taking care of everything that will get our children ready for the new upcoming school year.

  • Placing Importance on Your Child's Vision

    August 17, 2016

I'll never forget the day my son got his first pair of glasses. First, he was 5 years old and looked just like Harry Potter in his tiny round spectacles. The second thing was he could see. Every 5 minutes (for days), he would drag me around the house and outside pointing out all the things that were blurry before I took him to the eye doctor.

  • Back to School with Pearle Vision

    August 17, 2016

School is TWO weeks away! Can you believe it? A few weeks ago I shared about our trip to Pearle Vision. Make sure you check your kiddo's eyes out before school starts. Nothing is worse than feeling self conscious and unsure because you can't see. It affects how a child learns and so much more!

  • Starting the School Season Right with Pearle Vision + $100 Giveaway

    August 17, 2016

Since 3rd grade, both my son and I have worn glasses. Getting an eye exam is important for everyone to do including those of us who need our prescription updated once a year! I did not have my kids' eyes examined as early as I should have. Comprehensive eye exams are essential starting at age 3!

  • Five Things We Learned From our Visit to Pearle Vision

    August 17, 2016

I wrote recently about my son's first visit to our local Pearle Vision in Murray. Since that initial consultation and exam, I've been talking to other moms who have expressed the need to take their own kids for a vision test. I have had several people tell me how they can't believe that my five year old would need glasses! They have an idea in their head that it is only those with other medical issues that might have a need for eye-wear.

  • Importance of Eye Health for Kids at Pearle Vision

    July 26, 2016

I’ll never forget receiving a call from Alex’s 1st grade teacher back in 2013 letting me know that she thinks I should get Alex’s eyes examined. She had noticed him squinting at the chalkboard repeatedly, so she asked the nurse at school to do an eye exam on him. Unfortunately for Alex, he failed it.

  • My Trip to Pearle Vision + Enter to Win

    July 26, 2016

The summer has just flown by y’all! Connor is about to start first grade in a month and I just can’t believe it. Somebody hold me! We took Connor in for his 6-year-old check up a few months ago and one of the things his doctor recommended was to get an eye exam. Did you know that 80% of what children learn is through their eyes?

  • Getting Ready for Back to School with a Visit to Pearle Vision

    July 26, 2016

A few years ago our youngest son, Aaron, was experiencing headaches quite frequently. He would come home from school exhausted and then the headaches would hit in the early evening. One trip to the eye doctor and we found out just how bad his eyesight was. One pair of glasses later and the headaches stopped.

  • Glad To See You

    July 26, 2016

Pearle Vision does a great job providing comprehensive eye exams for the whole family. They also make sure to get the prescription right. Comprehensive Eye Exam means...the vision test is thorough and looks at your eye health and also indicators in your eyes that can reveal information about your overall eye health.

  • Back to School with Pearle Vision Vlog + a Giveaway!

    July 25, 2016

Back to school means new supplies, new clothes, physicals and should include an eye exam! I have worn glasses since I was in 3rd grade and one of my kids followed in my footsteps. They both go in for yearly exams though because there's so much more to an eye exam than just the prescription.

  • What To Expect At Your Child's First Eye Exam

    August 25, 2016

I remember when we took our boys to the dentist for the first time. My oldest son, Dexter, was nearly four years old, and I was confident that he would have no issues. It turned out he had a cavity and needed to have it drilled and filled! I was so distraught, feeling like a bad mom for not having taken him sooner, but I'd naively thought that he was too young! I vowed then not to make the same mistake with his eyes.
