Bialik to Discuss Diverse Topics, Including the Launch of Her Own Online Community, GrokNation

Bialik stars on the CBS hit “The Big Bang Theory,” where she plays the role of Amy Farrah Fowler (a role for which she received an Emmy nomination each year from 2012 to 2015 for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series). Additional accolades include nominations for SAG Awards and Critic’s Choice Television Awards. Bialik gracefully transitioned from her start as a young star, having played young Bette Midler in "Beaches" and the lead role on the NBC sitcom “Blossom,” among other roles.
Bialik also earned her doctorate in neuroscience and is a tireless advocate for STEM education and careers, especially for girls and women. Her latest endeavor, GrokNation, is an online community for people of all ages and backgrounds to dive deeply into conversations about contemporary issues in an accessible and unapologetically nerdy way. GrokNation aims to activate readers to engage in online conversations that lead to offline action, mobilizing individuals toward changing the world as a community. Bialik is also the author of two books: “Beyond the Sling,” which guides parents through the world of attachment parenting, and “Mayim’s Vegan Table,” a vegan family cookbook.
